Organic acacia fiber dietary supplement. The soluble fiber content is 90%. One package contains 300 g acacia fiber.

In the production of acacia fibre, the milk of the acacia trees is tapped, dried and cleaned. Only physical methods are used. The natural substance is neither subjected to extraction processes nor chemically or enzymatically altered. You receive a pure, unaltered natural product in organic quality.

Suggested usage

2 x daily, stir a slightly heaped tablespoon (5g) into a glass of water. It is recommended to take it half an hour before meal or as advised by the therapist. An increased fluid intake is not absolutely necessary, but certainly not a mistake to increase the excretion of endogenously formed metabolic products.

The International Scientific Association for Probiotics and Prebiotics (ISAPP) defines prebiotics as "substrates that are selectively utilized by host microorganisms conferring a health benefit". Most prebiotics are forms of soluble fiber found naturally in certain fruiis, vegetables and plants that have been extracted and purified. The soluble fibers that comprise prebiotics are non-cellulose compounds that connot be digested by enzymes secreted in the human small intestine. Instead, they travel intact into the large intestine, where they are broken down through fermentation by gut bacteria into various beneficial byproducts. These include short-chain fatty acids, such as butyrate and acetate, bioactive substances and bulk that promotes laxation. Moreover our acacia fiber is FODMAP-friendly.
